Issued with a centerfold, it was printed on high quality thick handmade laid paper with a blank verso [page numbered 12 on verso]. There are some small centerfold separations [affecting margin only] and two inside creases [original paper imperfection] on right and left side as shown by the detailed photo. Ample photos in high resolution are provided for your convenience of identification and judging its high quality independently. Description: This very nice map of Northern part of Russian in Europe was published in Vaugandy’s Nouvel Atlas Portatif in Paris on 1778. Very nicely hand colored in outline with a decorative cartouche, it depicted the region (of the all the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, Finland with other interesting features. For instance, Kanin-Kamen was depicted as an island) in good details with period political divides of late 18th century.
