ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER: The plate was drawn and engraved by John Greig. John Greig (active 1800-1853) British publisher, printer, and printmaker. He worked for James Storer in London, 1803-12. PROVENANCE: Published in 'A History of the Colleges, Halls and Public Buildings attached to the Lives of the Founders' by Alex Chalmers, F.S.A. Published by Cook & Parker, Oxford - Longman, Hurst, Rees and Orme London March 1 1810. TYPE: Antique plate engraving printed on paper. VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is blank. CONDITION: Good; suitable for framing. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase.
