The coin has been identified as variety 4-E due to the 8 feathers on the front, with only 3 of them touching the ground, and the E and R in FEUCHTWANGER are separated on the reverse. It is composed of German silver, which is an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel which resembles silver. The coin has been holed at some point and has damage on the reverse, with the entire word ONE scratched away. It has just the slightest bend in the planchet above the hole.
