In this auction is: 1876 The Weekly Detroit Free Press MICHIGAN newspaper LARGE FORMAT 1 PIECE This is a very old newspaper of the Detroit Free Press Weekly from Michigan. This is the large folded format 1 piece too, double sided as shown. These are seldom seen and from an interesting era. I did not take pictures of every article or some important or interesting ones may not be shown but if you look at the pictures you will get an idea on what was being printed back then. This is original issue with tears/rips/soiling etc. I am going to be listing from other years of the 1870s Free Press to so check them out. They would look neat if framed . They are folded from the way I acquired them and probably were issued folded due to the size back then and people having used a wagon horse & buggy to transport them besides just walking with it. ?'s please ask.
