Демьян Бедный (настоящее имя Ефим Алексеевич Придворов 1883 - 1945) - русский советский писатель, поэт, публицист и революбционный общественный деятель. Член РСДРП(б) с 1912 года, в 1938 году исключёниз партии, восстановлен посмертно (1956). В 1920-х годах Д. Бедный был популярным и успешным автором. Общий тираж его книг в 1920-е годы превысил два миллиона экземпляров. Нарком культуры А. В. Луначарский оценил его как великого писателя, равного Максиму Горькому, и в апреле 1923 года ВЦИК наградил Демьяна Бедного орденом Красного Знамени. Это было первое награждение боевым орденом за литературную деятельность в РСФСР. Творчеству Демьяна Бедногобыл посвящён целый ряд изданий. Demyan Bedny (real name Efim Alekseevich Pridvorov 1883 - 1945) - Russian Soviet writer, poet, publicist and revolutionarypublic figure. Member of the RSDLP(b) since 1912 year, in 1938 he was expelled from the party, reinstated posthumously (1956). In the 1920s, D. Bednyi was popular and successful author. The total circulation of his books in the 1920s exceeded two million copies. People's Commissar of Culture A. V. Lunacharsky praised him as a great writer equal to Maxim Gorky, and in April 1923 the All-Russian Central Executive Committee awarded Demyan Bedny with the Order of the Red Banner. This was the first award of a military order for literary activity in the RSFSR. A number of publications were devoted to the work of Demyan Bedny.
