Combo deal saves us each a couple of bucks. 1941 - XF-AU. This one looks gently cleaned and/or rubbed obverse and harshly cleaned reverse, both over original surfaces - craziness. The obverse has some coin-to-coin rub or mishandling by dragging it across a dirty surface like a tabletop. The reverse has similar looking marks, but more of them, and it looks like harsh cleaning with a very fine wire brush. Either way, there are tiny new hairline scratches. 1941 D - AU. Original to semi-original coin, still has a thin layer of purse slime on it and good embedded grime, may have been rubbed a little. Also has what appears to be PVC residue on it, don't think it is copper oxides/sulfates.
