Mao declared the founding of the People's Republic of China on 1 October 1949. Poster measures 15" x 21 1/2" Upper two corners have vintage tape reinforcement. Lower corners had tape reinforcement but were pulled away when the poster was removed from the wall upon which it was attached causing two chips which, for the most part are within the margins.
