Description: As found 1950's 18K Gold UNVER Valjoux 72C Triple Date Calendar Chronograph Up for sale today is a lovely 18k Gold UNVER Valjoux 72c triple date calendar chronograph. Watch remains in as found condition, untouched. - Silver multiscale dial with gold hour indexes and raised numerals shows various aging marks and paint faded in different places (exactly as found); - Original gold stick hands and counter hands; - Lovely 18k gold case with smooth lugs and original facets, with a small visibile bezel dent at 13:00 position, in as found condition; - Low dome acrylic crystal, with various scratch marks, never polished; - Original fat gold crown and flat pushers; - Good condition snap on back case with all marks present. The watch sports the famous Valjoux 72c column wheel chronograph movement. Copper finish movement. The balance turns freely and is in good working order. The movement is pretty clean, with no abuse, rust or oxidation marks. All functions work well, including the calendar push buttons. Watch not tested for accuracy, sold as is... thus service is in demand before use!! Case, back, bezel and crystal show age related marks or scratches but remain in as found condition, not refurbished. Dial and hands show wear or aging marks. Diameter: ~35.6 mm across, not including the crown. All the imperfections are shown in photos.
