Robeson in 1879 in Elmira, New York. Millard Robeson started out by selling pocket cutlery. From 1910's to 1930's, Robeson was considered one of the best manufacturers of pocket cutlery in America, and one of the best in the world. In 1971, the Ontario Knife Co. bought Robeson and began making Robeson-brand pocketknives through their sister company, Queen Cutlery Co. Robeson has many trade names including Robeson, Red Pig, Shuredge, Pocketeze, Mastercraft, ... This knife has the blade forged from the fine carbon steel designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction. The blade is thin ( slightly flexible near the tip ), sharp, and very easy to sharpen should resharpening needed. The handle is triple pinned over the full tang to sure fitting for durability, strength, & balance. Very faded trademark logo ( photo 3 ).
