Description: This listing is for a vintage HAMILTON'S INVADERS SET made by REMCO in 1964. It was inspired by the 1950s Sci-Fi movies shown on television at the time. The set includes Horrible Hamilton, 3 smaller rolling bugs, blue defenders, tank, and cave. The key piece, of course, is Horrible Hamilton, which measures 12 inches long and made of plastic with a pull-string motor. This one is complete with both eyes, horn, antennas, and tail, which are typically missing. Still works--scuttles along the floor when you pull the string. Very creepy! The smaller bugs are in equally nice condition and have all wheels underneath. The tank has the driver and a missile. There is pullstring in rear of the tank which works but the wheels seem to turn too fast. The set comes in the original mailer box. The box shows storage wear, but is complete with all flaps and still displays well. It is virtually impossible to find Horrible Hamilton complete and working, especially in a boxed set.
