Written by Hungarian author, Laszlo Tarr, with the translation by Elisabeth Hoch. Profusely illustrated throughout, with depictions of early carriages in various artforms, alongside photographs of more modern versions. CONDITION In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with very light bumping to the extremities and the odd handling mark. Dust wrapper is generally smart, with edge wear and light creasing. One or two chips to the wrap, with a closed tear to the head of the rear joint. Sunning to the spine and light soiling. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
