Description: For your consideration are a pair of mid-century wood wall art ‘masketeer’ cats. I don’t know if these were actually made by the masketeer company, as they are not marked as to manufacturer. The wood is either teak or mahogany, I’m not sure. These cats measure approximately 19 inches tall. PLEASE NOTE: THE WHISKERS WERE MISSING ON THE ONE CAT AND THE OTHER ONE WAS DAMAGED, SO I MADE NEW WHISKERS FOR THESE CATS (PROBABLY BETTER / NICER THAN THE ORIGINAL ONES). I USED 1/16” BRAZING ROD AND SOLDERED THEM VERY NICELY / NEATLY. I USED GOOD QUALITY VINTAGE BRASS UPHOLSTERY TACKS TO HOLD ON THE WHISKERS AND ALSO USED THEM FOR THE EYES. These cats are not perfect and they do show their age. However, they are still nice looking vintage items. You are purchasing them as-pictured and as-is. Thank you for your interest.
