Description: In the 1930's and 1940's not only did each vehicle have a specific outside spotlight mounting bracket but most used a specific inside mounting bracket as well. 23L is for the LEFT (driver's side) of a lot of vehicles. This was probably the most used inside bracket. Unity made these in chrome, painted, and like this one non-chrome (maybe nickel). They also made some like this example that the part number is not stamped on it. This bracket fits some years and some models of: Auto Car, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Desoto, Diamond T, Dodge, Federal Truck, GMC, Graham, Hudson, Hupmobile, Indiana Truck, International truck, Lafayette, La Salle, Lincoln, Lincoln Zephyr, Mack, Mercury, Nash, Nelson LeMoon Truck, Oldsmobile, Packard, Pontiac, Reo Truck, Studebaker, Terraplane, White truck, and Willys-Overland.
