Description: This auction is for a set of four (4) RARE Royal Winton / Grimwades chintz tea cup and saucer sets. Made in England. It is the FIREGLOW pattern. Hastings style. Discontinued pattern. Dates from the 1930's. This auction also includes the snack plate / saucers also. There is a total of 12 pieces in this lot. The cups measure about 3 x 3 inches. The saucers measure 5 3/4 in diameter. The little snack plates measure about 7 inches in diameter. One of the saucers has a small nick under the glaze, so it was done during firing. Antique and vintage items do not look new, and that is part of their charm. There is wear to the gold trim. Overall, very good condition.
