Description: Aquatic Snails Live Assorted Color and Sizes with floater plants I've had an explosion of aquatic snails. They are very polific breeders when food is plentiful. Mine come in many colors and sizes. They are great algae eaters and promote a healthy ecosystem for any freshwater tank. They are very hardy and can survive poor water conditions. They are also a great food source for puffer fish. These snails are also great companions for any solo freshwater fish like a betta while adding a negligible bioload compared to larger snail species. Each purchase will have a few red root floaters, duckweed, and/or a prolific water wisteria clipping that will grow fast as a floater or planted. This is a randomized mix of ramshorns, pond, and bladder snails. You may even get an extra or so with the plants. If you do not want a floater, let me know and I won't include it. Some snails have white striping or white discoloration on their shells. This is common. They are not sick! It is the calcium layer showing from minor erosion. Nothing life threatening to the snails. They do best in neutral to slightly alkaline water. (7.0-8.0 PH) If you receive any empty shells, you can clean it with warm water, crush it up, and add it back to the aquarium for a boost in calcium which snails love. Make sure to float the bag for at least 20 minutes before adding them to an aquarium for acclimation or they can die from shock. I will do my best to prevent any DOAs. Thank you.
