Description: This sale is for a plain 4x5" ground glass focusing screen with clipped corners. Made of standard soda-lime glass, it measures exactly 4x5", and will fit cameras requiring a 4x5" screen with clipped corners. What sets this screen apart from most others is the fine grind. I spent hours creating this screen first accurately cutting to size from stock, then hand grinding it to a perfect level of diffusion. If a screen is ground too coarsely it will have more grain and less light transmission. Ground too finely the diffusion suffers with loss of detail. This screen is ground to the perfect level of diffusion with good detail in highlights and shadows -and importantly its super bright. It's a labor of love to make these screens.
