Description: Super rare Alchemy Gothic “LAST PENITENCE” bookmark. Hand crafted in England at the workshops of the Alchemy Carta this piece is made of hand cast English pewter and “Ivorine” (bone resin) and finished with hand antiqueing. It is finished with a brilliant red satin ribbon and second casting bearing the Alchemists logo. It consists of 2 figures-Death and the Damned as they stand beneath a blood re faceted Crystal. There are 2 gargoyles below the cathedral styled arches and rope trim surrounds the arches. Made in 1996, this piece is almost 30 years old. It was damaged during shipping and sadly one of the arms of the skeleton was not able to be salvaged. This piece is extremely rare as it is very fragile and not many survived the overseas journey whole. This will be wrapped in layers of bubble wrap and shipped in a heavy cardboard box.
