Description: It is initial dated and numbered. It is in good condition. Please see photos. This Translucent Alexandrite glass actually changes colors depending on the lighting. It appears lilac (or sometimes pink) in natural sunlight or yellow artificial light. It looks smokey blue in fluorescent/white light. This is due to the presence of Neodymium oxide (NdO) in the glass. This was a custom made color for The Collectors Addition. Some cats are naturally more purplish while others look more pink. This has to do with how the batch of glass was mixed. The more purple cats have a stronger reaction to the fluorescent lighting and turn a brighter blue
