The narration is very light and appeals to kids. Good farm photography provided with some scientific exploration into the birds. Release Date: 1937 Entered the Public Domain: 1966 Film 8: Let's Visit A Poultry Farm (1948) B&W Runtime 9 Minutes Six-year-old Betty visits a poultry farm, where she helps feed the chickens, sees them at various stages of development, watches a boy clean the eggs for market, sees eggs being gathered, and watches a truck bring grain and take the eggs away. Release Date: 1948 Entered the Public Domain: 1977 Film 9: Duck Farming (1920s) SILENT B&W Runtime 13 Minutes In this SILENT film we learn all about different types of ducks. Most common is the Pekin duck. They're by far the cutest for sure. Others are shown as well, their lifespans, and farming of these are also explored. Yes, the slaughter of them are shown too, but it's kept to a minimum. Plus, we get the strange sight of the lady feather pluckers, who seem to not mind working in an environment such as that.
