Description: Pre-Griswold Erie, Eccentric, Bulge Kettle. Manufactured c. 1895 I've never handled one of these in such pristine condition. The interior cooking surface is mirror smooth. Even in and around the bottom well, which would have fit down into the stove eye, the surface shows very little, if any, signs of wear. Only the underside, exposed to the fire, shows some pitting but the Erie markings are still clearly visible. Even the helper ring and the wooden handle on the bail are still intact. Stands 9 3/4" tall with a maximum outside diameter of 12" . Weighs just over 12 lbs.
