Description: This beautiful one-of-a-kind antique 1900-1930's Tribal Avshar rug makes it's way from the Anatolian region in Turkey. It features bold earthy colors with geometric lines and motifs. A beautiful floral border on a dark navy background ties the whole rug together nicely. This rug features an extremely dense, tightly woven wool pile that is great for high traffic areas. Natural dyes and colors include: navy, crimson, gold-yellow, and more.  This hand made rug is made of non-shedding hand spun wool making it easy to clean, and making it incredibly soft to walk and lounge on. This densely woven wool rug contains natural oils called lanolin that naturally resist dirt and grime, therefore allowing it to look cleaner for much longer than synthetic rugs. Regular vacuuming will remove any dirt and grime, and allow you to enjoy your rug for many decades.  We are a long time family run business based in the U.S. with direct support from our family in Turkey. We source our inventory directly from Turkey and the surrounding regions. Everyone involved in our business is very passionate about the rugs we offer.
