Description: Wonderful set of two antique lithograph prints by J.L. Prevost, Jean Louis Prevost. He was a french artist who lived from 1760-1810. I'm guessing that these framed and matted prints are from the 1920's, or earlier. They are beautiful floral, botanical depictions, very detailed. Pretty colors. They measure 5 inches by 6 1/2 inches. They have wooden frames that are stained, or painted a light grey color and have glass over the prints. The mats are have a shiny, quilted look and there is a brass, gold tone, oval shaped ring around the print. They have tiny nails holding the backing in place. They are in very good condition and the issues are: The print on the red matted picture is not quite as vivid as the green one. There is a tiny corner of the glass missing on the left bottom of the green picture. There is a tiny tear in the signature part of the red print and I have replaced some of the small nails on the back of the pictures that hold the print in place. Please examine photos carefully. Non smoking home.
