Description: We are offering this beautiful antique very early 20th Century English Hand-Beaded Needlepoint wood Tea Tray. We purchased it from an antique dealer in London. The needlework is exquisite and under glass; light blue beaded background is beautifully intact with no missing beads. The flowers and leaves arrangement are all glass beads in hues of white, gray, pink, bronze, golds, creams, browns. Note that the dark beads are a bit smaller, not missing. Please see our photos as they are part of our description. The tray frame has a split which can be repaired, the glass is good with a teeny nick in a corner which is easily missed - again please see our photos. The tray is securely strung for hanging. Not all the original feet are present; this is how we purchased it. The tray is impressively large and measures 21” long x 11” wide x 2" Tall. Gorgeous piece of art made by very talented needle woman in the late 19th/early 20th century. The tray is in lovely form for its age, is large enough to display your entire tea set. We pack well and ship within the USA lower 48 states only; no international shipping. We maintain a nonsmoking and pet free household.
