This very old bronze vase has a band of turquoise cloisonné around its shoulder. The shape and the minimal decoration lead me to believe it is from Japan but could also be Chinese. The vase measures 6 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide and is in very good condition for its age. There is some pitting to the enameling and the bronze has some scuffs and scratches (see photos).
