Antique Charles Crandall's School District 1880 Toy Wooden School Fiqures

Description: This is a 1880'ish antique Charles Crandall's School District jointed wooden figure toy set. It is a setting of an old school room that had students of varying ages in the one room. It includes 11 students, 1 dog, 1 teacher, 1 desk, 13 stands for the figures and 11 books. They are all painted on each side. The damage I see is the teachers chair leg was broken and has been repaired and there are 5 students that their hands have split, from putting books in and out of them I'm sure. Example of the hand split is shown in photo 9 where the young boy seated is kicking the boy's seat in front of him. Most hand splits aren't quite that bad. For it's age it really is not a lot of damage. This set was bought at auction from Toy Museum Of Atlanta when it was closing in the mid 1980's.
