Description: Antique1931Soviet Era Latvia5 Lati Coin Brooch / Pin Diameter: 1 1/2" x 2 5/8" to bottom of dangling charms / Weight: 27.8 grams You're bidding on the above mentioned Latvian 5 Lati coin made into a pin. The coin is dated 1931 and it's from the Latvijas Republika. It is equipped with a simple "C" clasp which is a good indication of the era in which it was created. I don't know the significance of the (3) dangling charms. This is in very good condition with nice patina. The pin is a little bent. See pictures for details and I will let them speak for themselves. Please note: This is being shown as found and I did not polish it. Most buyers tell me not to polish. I will leave that to the lucky winner. I use a macro lens to capture as much detail as possible. Keep in mind when using the zoom tool that you are seeing the item magnified many times over.
