There are carvings all over and the trunk of the base is over 20 inches wide!! The claw feet are over 7 inches wide, and the typical claw foot size is around 3 inches. The table has a split pedestal base and comes with one 16.5-inch table leaf. There is room for 4 additional table leaves. If you would like additional leaves to open the table to over 10 feet long, please contact us for a quote. The table as pictured is 60 inches round and 29 inches tall. It has been refinished in a gorgeous brown mahogany stain finish. The highlights in the base are stunning. The table dates from the 1890-1892 range and is an excellent example of Americana. It has a wide ogee bevel edge on the round top. It has a molded edge on the bottom of the skirt.
