Book meets First Edition / First State points: Illustration of Moses at the frontispiece titled "Moses", and not "Titain's Moses" as found in later editions, one page advertisement for Innocents Abroad at the last page and the following typographical errors: on page 37, 7 lines from the bottom is printed "fee" instead of "feel" as found in later editions. On page 46 on line 11 is printed "2oo" instead of "200" as found in later editions. On page 414, 9 lines from the bottom is printed "spirting" instead of "spurting" as found in later editions. On page 465, on line 4 is printed "stuck" instead "stick" as found in later editions. Book is in overall very good condition. Gold gilded and stamped design to the front cover and spine face is well intact. Exterior shows some wear like rubbing or chipping to the upper and lower ends of the spine. Outer corner edges of the cover boards aso show some rubbing. The lower right corner of the front cover has some superficial watermarking to the cloth. Outer page fore edges show some minor soiling spots. Interior of the book shows some minor tatter at the blank front endpapers and the outer page fore edges of the first several pages up until the illustrations contents page are a bit rough. Interior of the book is overall very clean with some minor toning to pages and very occasional or minor soiling or foxing spots. Book's binding is well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book totals 631 pages, measures approximately 9 x 6 1/8 x 2 1/8 inches and weighs about 2 1/2 pounds.
