🔥 Antique Old 1940s Dutch Impressionist Still Life Oil Painting

Description: This is a lovely and finely rendered Antique Old 1940s Dutch Impressionist Still Life Oil Painting on canvas, by early female Dutch painter Corry Bernsen (1918 -?). This work depicts a delicately painted floral still life scene, with a wide assortment of various flowers in colorful hues. Bernsen clearly takes her influence from the Dutch school, who have historically painted some of the finest floral still life paintings in the world, a tradition that dates back to the 16th century. Signed: "Corry Bernsen" in the lower right corner. Additionally, this work is titled in graphite on the top stretcher bar of the verso: "Floral Bouquet." Approximately 16 x 20 inches. Good condition for age, with a few small tears and areas of faint scuffing (please see photos.) Acquired from an old estate in San Gabriel Valley, California.
