Description: Very detailed and colorful original watercolor painting by the listed Italian artist, Benedetto Salviati (19th /20th C) Beautifully painting of a Venetian Harbor with boats and buildings in the background. The painting is quite old but has been re-framed in a great looking frame with new matting. The old matting is still on the painting but has considerable yellowing from age. The painting is signed, B. Salviati in the lower right corner. The painting is in excellent condition except for some light scuff marks in the upper center sky. (see photos for detail). The visible image is 21" x 14" inside the mat. The mat measures 18" x 26". The overall frame is 21 3/4" x 28 3/4". Very nice old painting ready to hang and enjoy.
