Description: Vintage PAIRPOINT Quadruple Plate Silver Bombay Footed Jewelry Box Repousse RARE. This is an extremely rare jewelry box from the late 1800’s made by the Pairpoint Mfg Co. in New Bedford Massachusetts. The box is quadruple plated Box is about 6 1/2 x 5 1/2 and stands about 3 3/4" tall. Top of lid has lovely engraved initials Interior is lined with red velvet Flower and leaf repousse work on lid The side repousse work with cherubic-like beings The top of the box has a small area where the plating has come off. Please see pictures. The box can use a little more cleaning. This is a beautiful antique accessory that would be a wonderful addition to your home. Please see photos and message me with questions.
