Description: Antique Middle East pottery footed plate/dish in the fish & floral design. This antique piece is highly reflective and was difficult to photograph. Any white showing is light reflection only. I tried to the best of my ability to eliminate any photos with light glare however there had to be some included. The pottery piece has one chip on the rim of the dish. I purchased it this way and the chip is very old. The dish is solid and the paint is extremely vibrant. This piece is pre 1800’s so it’s amazing it even exists. The bowl/plate is hand painted with a turquoise glaze over the black paint. It measures approximately 9.25” diameter x 2.25” high and weighs 1 pound 6.9 ounces prior to packaging for shipping. This is one of multiple pieces purchased from a collector that traveled the world collecting antiques. You can see in the photos the piece appears “wonky “ because it is. They didn’t have the pottery wheels that are used today so the piece isn’t defective it’s just very very old school created. It’s a beautiful piece to display.
