Russian size is 55 very small, which is equal to 6-7/8 US size or 21.6 inches circumference. The hat is in excellent vintage condition. This is the original Soviet KGB officer hat made in USSR and issued by Soviet military factory in 1982 and has the original USSR Moscow Military Factory tag with logo of Zarnitsa Headgear Factory.
