Description: A big, nicely polished low-dome oval cabochon of sparkly blue sandstone (aka goldstone, a type of man-made glass) sits in a tidy sterling silver cabochon. The ring's face measures 34mm tall by 19mm wide (about 1-3/8" x 3/4"). The stone's depth is 6.3mm The bezel is open at the back and attached to a simple half-round band, 3mm wide and 1.2mm thick. Size 7.25. Easily resized. Marked "925" on the bezel. The band is stamped "925" with the assay mark for Birmingham* (I got this ring from the UK) plus an unknown maker's mark (AC inside of a bowtie-shaped seal). 10.8 grams. *Hallmark nerds: is it weird that the ring has an assay mark but not a date mark?
