The transmsision pan has a very cool raised finned look and is a very nice black finish. The inside is about 2" deep ncludes the drain plug, bolts, and gasket. It is constructed from heavy duty aluminum that helps create a tighter seal, and the thick edge helps prevent cracks/warping. This is a nice upgrade over stock or chrome pans that just don't seal well.
