Description: ~ Description ~ Eagle's View Sewing Pattern # 65 Boy's Indian War Shirt Includes Sizes Small (4-6), Medium (8-10), and Large (12-14) ~ Item for sale is a sewing pattern, not a finished garment ~ Eagle's View sewing pattern number PM 65. Pattern condition: uncut, factory folded and complete with instructions. The pattern is printed on paper for more durability. This pattern may be made in either the Natural "open" Style with the legs and tail of the hide attached (pictured on the front cover) or a more Tailored Style shown in other image at the top. The length may be varied to suit preference, Tribal influence or the size of available hides and an option for a neck flap is also given. The Indian War Shirt was worn either plain or decorated; honors and coups were often seen on the shirt. Paint, feathers, ermine tails, beadwork, quillwork, shells, bells, coins, fur and/or trade cloth are some of the items used to decorate the shirt.
