This pepper closely resembles the Moruga Scorpion but noticeably has a much thinner outer wall. There are countless reports that this pepper hurts worse than all the rest. Labeled as 1,500,000+ Scoville, but many say it’s far beyond that reaching into the depths of Hell itself. Large pods (pictured side-by-side next to a Carolina Reaper), maturing from green to orange to red. 150+ days to harvest, up to 21 days for germination as a capsicum chinense species. You can see in the photos that Butch T pods are much larger when compared to a standard Carolina Reaper! More pod, more pain! Fun fact: In 2013, the Carolina Reaper beat the Trinidad Scorpion "Butch T" pepper to claim the record for being the World's Hottest Pepper.
