SURFACE PREPARATION - Place the tank/tail slider in position so you know the area you will have to clean. - Thoroughly clean the surface ensuring it is free of road-grime etc. (an alcohol wipe will ensure cleanliness). - Thoroughly clean the inside face of tank/tail sliders (again an alcohol wipe will ensure cleanliness). - Coat the inside of the tank/tail slider with the silicone sealant (do not use too much as this becomes messy and difficult to remove). - Position the tank/tail slider and apply pressure to remove air and allow bonding. Remove excess from edges immediately as the longer this is left the more difficult it is to remove. We recommend securing the slider with masking tape (or similar) to the bike fairing/tank during the curing process to ensure proper adhesion. - Please leave for a minimum of twenty-four hours before riding the motorcycle.
