Description: Case XX USA 1 dot (1979) “Starter” or “Beginners” set of 7 knives. 1,500 of these sets were made and this is #0679 which is stamped into the lower part of each main blade on all 7 knives. Includes a wooden collector’s case lined with foam and blue felt. Includes one each of the following knives: # 63027 – 3 blade Tiny Stock Knife with Delrin handles – 2 ¾” closed #25 ½ - 2 blade Coke Bottle knife with smooth red bone handles and “Pilot Run 1 of 1500” etched into main blade – 3” closed #6344 – 3 blade Small Stock Knife with Delrin handles – 3 ¼” closed #0624PEN – 2 blade Premium Stock Knife with jigged bone handles – 3 7/8” closed #2138 – single blade Sodbuster with smooth black Delrin handles – 4 3/8” closed #6165 SAB – single blade Folding Hunter with jigged Pakkawood handles and saber ground blade – 5 ¼” closed #6250 – 2 blade Elephant Toenail with jigged Pakkawood handles and “Bradford Bonanza” scene etched into main blade – 4 3/8” closed This set was purchased and held as collector’s pieces only and have never been used or sharpened and have factory edges. The Elephant Toenail #6250 does have rust and / or corrosion spots on it so please examine this one carefully. Otherwise, these knives are in mint condition with very tight springs and no cracks in the handles. The included wooden collector’s case is sturdy and intact with original foam and blue felt liners, however the felt is coming off of the foam in a few places. Also, the top of the case does have some marks and staining from what looks like something was spilled on it.
