The the blade measures 8 inches and the overall lenght is 12 inches. The handle has a chip on one of the corners. other than that the condition is very good. The Sheath is has leather tool work looks like the conference X. It also has bead tassels at the tip. The searching all appears to be original. What a nice Civil War era knife to add to any collection.
