Introduced to the US market at Toy Fair in 2007, Clay-Mates are remarkable "Hugely Tiny Real Porcelain Creatures" that are smaller than a quarter! First a craze in the United Kingdom and Europe, Clay-Mates had great popularity in the United States from 2007 to approximately 2012! Clay Mates are made of high-temperature fired porcelain clay. These are extremely hard to find today, especially never removed from their original cards in fresh store condition. We carried these in my store; imagine my joy when I found a box of these in the back of my warehouse! How The Grab Bag Works You are purchasing a grab bag of six (6) Clay-Mates creatures. These will be taken directly from our stock and not sorted in any way, except that no two will be alike! I will endevour to send your 6 from different series, while supplies last. They will come on their original cards with their names on the back, as seen in the second image. The second image does not indicate which animals you will receive, and our selection is wider than the animals pictured on the blue backgrounds. The third image shows you a Clay-Mate on a quarter so you can see the scale. Also, if you buy multiple Grab Bag collections from us at one time, we will make sure that no 2 Clay-Mates are identical (for up to 4 Clay-Mate Grab Bags purchased at one time). Clay-Mate series include Zoo, Farm, Pets, Sky, Water, Woods, Mystics, Misfits and Dinosaurs. Clay-Mates were only produced for a period of time, then individually retired. It's more fun than a person should be allowed to have for such a low price per miniature animal! Examples of Clay-Mate creatures include cows, mice, penguins, dinosaurs, unicorns, pigs, eagles, ducks, dogs, cats, elephants, llamas, beavers, giraffes, and many more! Sometimes the animals will come loose from their cards in shipping (they are lightly glued with easily removable glue to their cards; they can also be easily put back on the cards if they come lose in shipping).
