Description: CRAFT - recycled audio tape cassettes - make a chair, lamp, necklace or other. 162 qty $75 A LOT of 162 (more than shown here - I found more after I took the photo) mixtape and already recorded on audio cassettes. While there are a lot of great (and some not so great) recordings, I'm definetly NOT offering them for what's recorded on them but instead for what you can do with them as a craft units (sorta like Legos), as suggested by some images I found of products made by ooomydesign which creates chairs and lamp shades from old audio cassettes. I googled "recycled audio cassettes" and when these photos came in the search I thought, WOW!, that's exactly the kind of creative inspiration I was hoping for. I hope some people who are less creative than you (or maybe with more money to spend) go to their website and purchase an already constructed item from them. You might make great curtains, room separators, or who knows, maybe something wearable like a a really bold necklace or top? Once a brilliant mind gets their hands on these who knows what great creation might come forth. Once I saw the pictures of what ooomydesign did I was mighty tempted to get some plastic ties and start weaving some cassette tapes together myself, but I have to keep reminding myself I'm trying to get rid of stuff not make and collect more. Began 2023 finding a 3D printing instruction https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5736778 for an adapter that fits into a cassette to make a cool necklace - also added some pix to show what it looks like. What a great way to turn cassettes in to wearable art. THE 3d printed ADAPTER IS NOT INCLUDED: This is an adapter that you can use to wear a cassette tape as a necklace. Simply snap the adapter into the tape's holes, and then feed a chain through the hole. May require some tweaking to snap fit properly, depending on your printer. This works well and has a tight grip on the cassette when printed in ABS on an Ender V2. The adapter is relatively safe, and should pop on and off a tape without too much trouble. With the adapter one could wear audio tapes as a fashion accessory. I'll be very happy if a creative person gets them and makes something and just sends me a photo.
