The coins have been designed by George Stamatopoulos and were minted at the State Mints of Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany. Obverse: The emblem of the Central Bank of Cyprus, the words “ΚΥΠΡΟΣ”, “CYPRUS” and “KIBRIS” and the year “2021”. Reverse: A composition depicting a plank-shaped figurine surrounded by a pattern of circular shapes. The phrase «60 ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ ΕΝΤΑΞΗ ΤΗΣ ΚΥΠΡΟΥ ΣΤΗΝ UNESCO» is circularly inscribed.
