The artist has signed to the lower right. The first name is indistinct, starting with D. The painting is beautifully presented in a Victorian wooden box frame. The frame boasts a velvet lined interior (this would likely once have been red but has now discolored to an attractive brown), and a gilt inner frame with exquisite molding. On board. Condition The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.
