Dinah had one of the longest and most successful careers of any singer/entertainer in the 20th century. She placed SEVENTY NINE (YES 79!) recordings in the TOP 25 over a 20 YEAR SPAN!! She hosted over 700 TV shows over a 30 year span. She had FOUR #1 hits (Buttons and Bows, Anniversary Song etc.) won a myriad of Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, etc. She is pictured with SIX photos in this book (of which 3 are basically the same using her posed Senior head photo.) It was clear in high school (if you look at her activity list) that she was well on her way towards her subsequent success. To top this all off, this book was FULLY SIGNED by her (with her full name at that time) in strong black fountain pen (since ballpoints and "sharpies" didn't exist at that time) along with most of the other students. This may well be the earliest known full signing by her (especially with her original name.) The cover and binding are in pretty good shape showing reasonable wear, but no major damage. There are no missing pages, no loose pages, but the pages do show age and some foxing and wear at the edges (including some minor splits about 1/4-1/2" on a few pages and a tiny piece about 1/2 inch square torn off the back end page, which has no content and is only decorative). This is a book that was looked at quite often; HOWEVER it has no missing pages, no cutouts, no musty smell, and while it is over 75 years old, it certainly can last another 75 years with your loving care.
