Description: Up for auction, I have a Walt Disney Television Studio Framed Cel from Disney's Aladdin The Series TV Show from the episode titled "To Cure A Thief." Disney's Aladdin The Series" premiered in 1994 and stars the lovable characters from the feature film "Aladdin." Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu, Genie and Carpet are joined by Iago in their fight against evil in this high flying adventure fun of love and laughs. This cel features the main characters, Aladdin and Jasmine (wearing their classic outfits from the film) are standing in front of a window while having a conversation. Jasmine is holding Aladdin's chin. It is from show 11 scene 263. Cel paintings are the final step in the intensely laborious process of animation. The artistic process begins with the storyboard, which illustrates the action of the script. Nest, animators create pencil drawings that give and movement to the characters. After the drawings are transferred onto acetate, the cels are meticulously hand painted. Once the production of each episode is complete, Disney cleans and touches up many production cels. In some cases, this process is so meticulous that Disney hand inks over existing lines. The framed cel measures 15 1/4 inches high by 19 1/4 inches wide by approximately an inch deep. The original COA is included in this auction. It certifies that the accompanying piece of art is an original production cel from the episode "To Cure A Thief" of the Walt Disney Television animated series "Disney's Aladdin The Series." This one-of-a-kind cel was used in the production of the animated series. The framed cel is in pre-owned condition with a few small condition issues: light wear on the frame and plexiglass, a couple dents on the right side of the frame, a small gouge wear mark on the top of the frame, a white mark a small gouge wear mark a long gouge wear mark on the left side of the frame, a small gouge wear mark a few dents on the bottom of the frame, a couple gouges wear marks upper right corner, a gouge a missing piece a wear mark separating on the lower left corner, wear a tear missing two felt feet guards on the back of the frame, paper sticker wear back of frame.
