Paint has been applied to a portion of the background by a previous owner, some faint warping appears in the lower half due to application of adhesive to recto, and there is a barely visible crack in the image near the forehead. There are notations in pencil on the recto, two stamps in purple ink, and a newspaper clipping of the photo is affixed as well. Date given in pencil is "12/29/29.".
