Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-CA X-NONE X-NONE Antique eleven (11) piece snack/tea set. The maker is unknown, but the number R141062 indicates the design was registered in 1889. There is also another number “2662” (possibly a pattern number?) inscribed in gold on the bottom of the teacups. Similar but not identical pieces found online have been assigned a name of “GENOA” which was produced by Wedgwood. The set consisits of 3 teacup and saucer sets, 4 small plates and a double handled sandwich or cake serving plate. The pattern features red on white intricate florals and bands in a geometric pattern above and below. The teacups are fluted with scalloped edges all trimmed in gold. The handles are an irregular shape. The plates are squared with scalloped edges. This set is in excellent condition – no chips, no cracks and amazingly, no crazing. Some gold wear commensurate with age and use. Please see all photos as they comprise part of the description. The cups are 2 ½ inches tall; the saucers are approximately 5 ½ inches in diameter. The small plates are approximately 6 ¾ inches in diameter, and the serving plate is 10 inches handle to handle.
