Description: Enchanting Customs are the one-of-a-kind custom My Little Pony creations of artist DLP. Each custom pony is made from a vintage My Little Pony toy as a base, or an HQG1C replica. The pony is then partially or fully repainted with acrylics, rehaired with nylon/Katsilk doll hair, and is partially or totally sealed to prevent chipping/destruction of the paint over time. Each pony is more of a display piece rather than a rough-and-tumble toy for kids, with a unique theme that is either wholly original or based on a previous IP (such as Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, Transformers, Star Wars, music artists and more!). The pony is fully repainted, with a bright pink body, blue and yellow irised eyes, a glittery forehead, hooves and single sided symbol. The pony's symbol/cutie mark is a series of seashells on the seashore. The pony has been fully rehaired with Dollyhair Katsilk brand doll hair in shades of blonde and blue. This custom pony is one of the oldest in my collection and some parts of her paint have not stood the test of time. She will be sold as is, without accessories. I hope she brings a lot of joy and fun to your pony, Barbie and toy collection! :) How to maintain your custom pony:As customs are primarily art pieces, it is best that they are stowed away from small children and pets, and kept in a cool, dry place. Gentle dusting with a Swiffer or soft microfiber cloth/old tee shirt is safe; using any kind of cleaning agent, including excess amounts of water, is not. The hair can be gently brushed through with a standard pony or Barbie brush, and detangled using standard conditioner--one pea sized drop and gentle brushing through with a misting of water is enough. The hair is heat sensitive and curling/straightening with a curling iron is not recommended--Katsilk is a delicate form of nylon that breaks easily and melts in high heat. Curling or making waves can be done by wrapping the hair around a straw/putting it into doll sized curlers and letting it sit overnight; sometimes damp hair can help with this. It's best that this pony does not get stored adjacent to other pony or vinyl toys for extended periods of time, because the paint, while often sealed, can come into contact with surrounding toys and stain/damage both toys. Storing this pony in airtight Sterilite storage containers is highly recommended when not on display, keeping the pony upright while doing so.
