FENTON RUBY RED MARY GREGORY CRIMPED VASE ROSE BOWL ROSES SIGNED ROSES ON RUBY

Description: Here's a very pretty ruby red rose bowl with Mary Gregory decoration hand painted by T. Budni. Per Fenton, any decoration consisting of painted white enamel on glass is considered Mary Gregory. In actuality, they have not been able to find any actual connection to a Mary Gregory. The style originated in Bohemia in the 1880s and traversed to North America. Back to the vase - the big rose decoration is present on both front and back with side decoration on both sides. It was blown into a two part mold. This vase was part of the Roses on Ruby Collection made from 1978-1979. This vase is in great condition. There are no chips or cracks. The glass is clear and rims are smooth. The painted decoration is 100% intact. There is a scratch (or manufacturing flaw) on the inside of the vase that I have pictured in the last photo. It is not obvious at all and it does not go through. I just found it and I've been assessing this vase for awhile. You need to be looking for it to see. Please take a look at my other listings.
